Courtesy Reminder: Similar to other service-based professions, travel agents are only compensated for our time when the traveler books with Stitched Vacations. If you take our hard work, our research and our expertise and book elsewhere, we are not compensated. This is why we charge a non-refundable "Plan to Travel Retainer Fee".
Client Benefits:
How valuable is your own time? On any given day, an experienced travel agent will already have the answers to the questions you spent hours to find on google. Travel agents know how to balance and fine tune itineraries to allow you to enjoy the most immersive time and the least travel time. Travel agents are precise because they are well practiced, planning hundreds of itineraries compared to someone who may plan one or two trips per year.
Payment of the $30.00 per person Plan To Travel Retainer Fee secures the service of Sonya Lamar of Stitched Vacations as your Travel Advisor (TA) for this group cruise booking. Additional research requests regarding this group cruise booking will begin once the Plan To Travel Retainer Fee has been received. Travel recommendations provided by the TA will be based on face to face and/or telephone consultation with the client.
The TA's Responsibilities:
The TA will provide up to four additional cruise quotes, upon request, for stateroom rates not included in the group cruise block via telephone and/or email/electronic messaging that best fit your budget and request noted in consultation(s). Additional services provided include pre-trip travel tips and advisories, email/phone assistance during travel, providing destination information, booking shore excursions and/or ground transportation and post-trip follow-up.
Some families traveling together in larger groups may require complicated or very intensive itinerary planning. Negotiating group contracts, building online booking pages for groups or extended trips requiring pre/post cruise hotel stays do require a larger investment of our time. In these situations, we will charge upfront service fees that are based on the specific situation and agreed upon by all parties in advance.
Deposit, Cancellation and Change Policy:
The Plan To Travel Retainer Fee is Non-Refundable and a separate expense from your total per person cruise rate. Deposits will be accepted once the Client Registration Form is complete. All deposits and payments towards your cruise/vacation will be submited directly to Disney by your TA.
The TA may cancel this contract, without penalty or obligation, and must provide the client with a full refund of the Plan To Travel Retainer Fee within 10 business days of the cancellation date.
Upon acceptance of this contract, if the client opts to change the cruise sailing/vacation destination location after initial deposit has been applied to the cruise sailing/vacation package, the client will incur a $50.00 change fee for each occurrence in addition to any cancellation penalties imposed by the travel vendor (ei. cruise line, air vendor or hotel provider).
