Caribou Space is currently supporting the European Space Agency as the Monitoring and Evaluation lead for the Global Development Assistance (GDA) programme. GDA is a global partnership between ESA and International Financial Institutions (IFIs) to mainstream the use of Earth Observation into development operations. IFIs offer financing and advisory services to government partners all over the world to support their sustainable development.
Under the GDA programme, EO products are designed to meet the needs of these government partners in a number of thematic areas, and are complemented by associated IFI-financed efforts to build capacity and ensure operational uptake.The objective of this survey is to understand the current level of commercial activity that is ongoing in the developing countries where these IFIs are active.

This understanding is crucial to advance the field and further grow market opportunities in a more targeted manner.
