The Point Lepreau Bird Observatory (PLBO) is located at the tip of Point Lepreau. To reach the site, all visitors must pass through the secured property of the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station. For this reason, NB Power requires all PLBO volunteers to complete a security clearance process.

As part of this process, you will need to provide your information here and obtain a criminal record check from your local police department. Even if you already have a background check for other work or volunteer activities, a new check is required specifically for this program. Once approved, your clearance will remain valid indefinitely.
