From 3:30-5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28th the T/TAC at Virginia Tech will be hosting a hybrid panel discussion around the transition process for students with disabilities that use assistive technology from high school to employment and community-based settings. Panelists will include institutional representatives from:
- The Center on Transition Innovations at VCU
- New River Valley Community Services
- The Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI)
- The Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitation Services (DARS)
Anyone interested in the topic of students with disabilities transitioning to new settings with assistive technology is invited to register for this FREE event and will have an opportunity to submit questions for the panelists to respond to.
A limited number of in-person seats will be available for individuals who would like to attend the panel discussion in person at the T/TAC at Virginia Tech's office. All attendees statewide will have the option to join the event via Zoom as well. Registration for this event is open now and can be accessed using the form below.
