Island Rider AMI drivers will be responsible for picking up and delivering clients to their destination of choice through our dispatch system, soliciting rides on the street, or using our Uber-like technology to schedule on demand rides. Drivers will pay a technology fee to Island Rider AMI at varied rates depending on season and shift. Drivers keep 95% of the tips.
Job Description

Island Rider AMI drivers will be picking up and delivering clients to their destination of choice using our phone dispatch system, our Uber-like technology and soliciting rides on the street. The ideal canidate will be at least 21 years of age, outgoing, friendly and have some knowledge of Anna Maria Island. Clients will schedule a ride through our easy to use website/app or a phone call to our centralized dispatch line and drivers will receive notification via their phone on the pending ride. A good driving record is a must, because drivers will be driving company owned golf carts for the shuttle service. Drivers will keep 95% of the tips from the rides. Drivers will pay Island Rider a technology fee at varied rates depending on season and shift. Shifts available are 10am-4pm or 4pm to 10pm. Drivers may work additional hours if they so chose at the desiginate technology fee rate. Drivers are considered to be independent contractors.
Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Driving clients to and from their destination on Anna Maria Island only.
- Must have a smart phone to download driver app and answer dispatch phone calls.
- Takes and executes directions, both verbal and written.
- A clean driving record.
- Demonstrates the ability to learn and execute proper equipment procedures as well as to treat all equipment respectfully.
- The ability to make change for any cash transactions.
- Keeping a mantainance log for the golf carts used.
- Reads, writes, and speaks English.
- Demonstrates the flexibility to deal with schedule changes.
- Will be required to sign an employment agreement that covers policies, procedures and non-compete.
- Drivers will be required to fill up the gas tank after their shift.
- Drivers must pay for the initial insurance application fee. ($50-$200 depending on age)
