This training is for newly appointed Captains and those who are current serving Captains and would like to update their training. This training provides you with the necessary skills as a Captain in the Boys’ Brigade Northern Ireland.

The course is made up of a number of different sessions including; the role of the Captain, safety in the company, planning and managing the company, developing the company, building a leadership team and working together with your church.

At the very heart of this course we aim to equip and enthuse Captains to lead a BB company that is full of passion to share Jesus with our children and young people and live out our object of advancing Christ’s Kingdom.

To attend this course you need to have completed your BBNI Leader Training or Youth Leader Training and BBNI Safeguarding Training.

This course will take place virtually via zoom, joining details will be sent to those registered nearer the time.

Please note that all leadership appointments including the role of Captain are made by the Church. If you are planning to attend this training course please advise your Chaplain/Minister/Church Leadership before registering.
