  • Creative Liberties provides:

    • the classroom space for the agreed upon rental fee
    • will list all classes on the classroom calendar on our website
    • do at least one (1) social media promotion
    • we will list it in the monthly newsletter. 

    Classroom space is air-conditioned and there are tables and chairs. There is a utility sink and restroom for instructor and student use. We do not provide supplies or special equipment. We will make sure that the building is open 30 minutes prior to class start and for 30 minutes after class ends. We do not have storage space to store teacher or student supplies. 

    Creative Liberties does not register or take payments from students for a class. This is the responsibily of the instuctor.  

    Instructor is responsible for:

    • setting price
    • acquiring and registering students
    • promoting class/workshop
    • creating and distributing supply list
    • providing any necessary special equipment
    • set-up of classroom
    • clean-up of classroom (sweep floor, take out trash if full, return tables to orginal setup)
    • agrees to be directly contacted by students
    • providing a flyer to Creative Liberties to advertise class (see flyer section for guidelines) 

    Payments/Fees

    Instructor agrees to pay Creative Liberties a non-refundable classroom rental hold fee of $25 to book class space. The 20%/30% of collected fees should be paid at end of class to a Creative Liberties representative. Any fees not paid at the end of class will incur a 10% late fee of total amount due, per day past start date. Instructor agrees to adhere to all Creative Liberties Creative Academy Class Policies.

    Flyer Guidelines

    Flyers should be 8.5"x11", letter size, portrait orientation. Please send a digital version of the flyer to info@creativeliberties.net.  You are welcome to bring printed flyers by for distribution at our limelight locations.

    • Supplies included or not.  A link to supply list.
  • Teachers and students agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creative Liberties for any damage to, or loss of, artwork and other property owned by or in the care, custody or control of the teacher or students. Teachers and students agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creative Liberties for any injuries or damages arising from the activitiesor operations of the Teachers and students, and agree to indemnify Creative Liberties for any claims made against it arising from the activities or operations of the teachers and students. In all cases, such indemnification includes Creative Liberties' reasonable attorney's fees.

  • CREATIVE LIBERTIES CREATIVE ACADEMY CLASSROOM POLICIES

    Teachers will return classroom tables and chairs to normal configuration that is posted on the wall in the kitchen.

    Trash must be picked up, classroom swept, and taken out to the outside trash receptacle. Replace the bag in the classroom, kitchen and bathroom trash can.

    Failure to return the classroom to normal configuration, cleaning the space, and/or taking out the trash will result in a $50 cleaning fee. Repeat offenders will not be welcome back.

    Teachers are responsible for bringing extension cords or power strips if electricity access is needed.

    If a student contacts Creative Liberties regarding a class they will be told to contact the teacher. Creative Liberties will not be forwarding messages for teachers or students.

    All spray paints, fixatives, sealers, adhesive, anything in a spray can or very smelly must be used outside.

    Parking. Please park in Creative Liberties designated spaces unless directed otherwise.

    Creative Liberties is not responsible for lost, broken or stolen property.

    Attendees may use the on-site fridge for storing their lunches or drinks.

    Classes are accepted on a first-come, first served basis.

    A classroom fee of $25 is required to hold the space. This fee is non-refundable and due at time of confirmation of date and time. Creative Liberties understands that last minute emergencies, illness or conflicts come up that cannot be controlled.

    Teachers must contact Creative Liberties no less than 24hrs before a class/workshop and inform Creative Liberties and students of cancellation.

    Creative Liberties reserves the right to take pictures or video for the purposes of promotion. Please be advised that by entering Creative Liberties locations is consent for photography, unless notified otherwise.
