Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a guardian dog from Yorkie and Morkie Boutique, but it does not guarantee a dog. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.
Application Process: Applications will be reviewed within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your application is a good fit, you will be notified.
Waitlist Process: By completing the application you are automatically registered and placed on the waitlist. Please understand that this is no guarantee and only allows you to receive updates about upcoming dogs.
Contract: We have a contract and will not place a guardian dog without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms after review, you need to contact us prior to picking up your dog.
Take-Back Policy We have a take-back provision in our contract. Any dog from our home always has a home here, and will never experience the fear and burden of life at a shelter. We take a cradle-to-grave "original home" responsibility for the puppies and dogs we created. If ever you are unable to care for one of our puppies or dogs, please contact us immediately.
Feeding: We feed a raw food diet from Maev. We would hope that this diet will continue in your home as this is the healthiest diet (food) out there and will provide you added years of health and happiness. This is what we prefer our guardian dogs to eat for breeding purposes.
Guardian Home: Becoming a guardian home with Yorkie and Morkie Boutique requires that you allow the puppy or dog to continue to breed in our Yorkie and Morkie Boutique program. If you have a male, he will be used for stud services and will need to be made available as coordinated. If a female, she will have regular heat cycles every 6 months and will be used for producing puppies in our program. During the heat cycle and late stage pregnancy, she will come back and live in our home. She will also reside with our program while she cares for her puppies. Afterwards, she is released with a clean bill of health back your home. You will be required to participate in this program as a guardian home and will memorialize this in an agreement. You will also have first right if refusal should we decide to retire our dog from the program and adopt the dog at the discretion of the breeder.
