  • IGGVA Commercial Grape Report for 2022

    Please fill out the following information for land you control or manage. This is the first of two parts of the 2022 Illinois Grape and Crush Survey. Part 1 will be filled out by all Illinois grape growers. Part 2 will survey all entities producing wines in the format of a crush report after harvest.   • Please provide us data on the acres you have planted by varietal.

    Please report all varietals that you have a minimum of 0.25 acres planted. Bearing acres refers to vines that have been planted for 3+ years and is producing fruit. Non-bearing acres refers to vines planted in the last 2 years and is not producing fruit for use. When selecting acreage size round up or down as appropriate. You may leave varietals that you don't have planted blank or enter 0 acres. If you are growing a varietal that is not listed you will have the opportunity to report them after the next question.

    This survey is being conducted by the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Alliance. The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather information on the wine and grape growing industry in Illinois. Information gathered will help us in developing statewide activities to support the industry, support future grant funding for the state, support needed research, and give an overarching view of the industry in the state of Illinois. Information will only be used to help with overviews of the state's wine and grape growing industry.
