Course Description(s):

SW3P for Plan Reveiwers

The objective of this course is for participants to be able to read, interpret and effectively review construction site erosion and sediment control plans and Stormwater Pollution Control Plans (SW3Ps), explain the deficiencies of SW3Ps to property developers, designers and contractors and to understand the State requirements for TPDES construction general permits.

SW3P for Inspectors

The objective of this course is for participants to understand how construction site temporary Best Management Practices (BMPs) operate, recognize deficiencies in erosion and sedimentation control plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SW3Ps), understand how to perform an efficient and effective site inspection for erosion and sediment control plans and SW3Ps, and recognize an improperly installed or maintained temporary BMP.

Target Audience(s):

SW3P for Plan Reviewers

municipal plan reviewers, designers, engineers, property developers and other personnel involved with the responsibility of preparing or reviewing plans for preventing stormwater pollution during construction

SW3P for Inspectors

municipal and private inspectors, contractors, engineers and other personnel involved with the responsibility installing, inspecting or maintaining BMPs to prevent stormwater pollution during construction

Classes will be held at our NCTCOG Arlington, TX offices.
