• Report A Wolverine Observation

Your observations (animals, tracks, dens) help us find and protect wolverine maternal dens, improve wolverine distribution maps, and teach us more about their life history. Your photos and videos help us verify the sighting. We only use your contact info to follow up and ask further questions. We don't share it with third parties without permission, and we don't send out newsletters or marketing e-mails.

  • Where did you make the observation?

    ***THIS IS IMPORTANT***

  • Describe the observation (upload photos further down):

Include as many details as possible including: type of observation - animal, track, scat (poop), number of individuals, behaviour, direction of travel, etc.

  • Do you think you found a wolverine female den site?

Caution: Wolverines are sensitive when raising their young, and we don't encourage investigating potential den sites. Females may abandon a den that got disturbed by people, putting her young ("kits") at risk. If you have found yourself close to a den inadvertently, though, or even if you only got an across-the-valley view/photo, you may have some valuable information for us.

  • The next couple fields help us learn how best to reach the public.
