2025 TROUPE APPLICATION FORM

Once we receive your application form we will advise via email whether your child has successfully received a position in one of our 2025 troupes and what age group they will be a part of. If your child hasn't been a member of our troupes before we may ask for an in person audition to see where they would be best placed. Troupes are based on the student's age as at 1st January 2025 unless advised otherwise.

7&U TROUPE - Ballet, Jazz & 1 x Troupe Class

9&U TROUPE - Ballet, Jazz & 2 x Troupe Class

11&U TROUPE - Ballet, Jazz, 2 x Troupe Class (Level Up & Lyrical Highly recommended)

13&U/SENIOR TROUPE - Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical & 1 x 1.5hr Troupe Class (Level Up Highly recommended)
RECOMMENDED CLASSES FOR TROUPE MEMBERS
It is recommended that our troupe students train in all styles of dance that are offered for their age group here at Dance On Pointe.

The Level Up class is designed specifically for our Performance Troupe students. It provides them with an opportunity to learn and develop advanced technical skills to enhance their performance and build the appropriate strength and flexibility to execute these skills.

TROUPE COMMITMENTS

Being a member of troupe is a commitment that each student must see out for the entire year. Standards and expectations must be met as this is a team sport and failure to commit to the below will affect the rest of the troupe.
Troupe members must attend a choreography day towards the end of January. Specific dates for each age group TBC.

Troupe members must have excellent attendance to all of their classes.

Troupe members must be committed to practicing their routines at home every week.

Troupe members must attend all scheduled performances (5 comps & 2-3 community events per year). Usually Saturday or Sunday performances.

Troupe members must have a DOP Puffer Jacket.

Troupe members must be available for the required school holiday rehearsals and if they are unable to make it may be asked to book a private lesson or join via zoom.

Troupe members are required to purchase 2-4 costumes depending on the age group.
