• 2027 TROUPE APPLICATION FORM

    Auditions for our 2027 troupes will be held on Friday 6th November 2026. Pre-K and 6U students won't be required to attend an audition. Troupes are based on the student's age as at 1st January 2027 unless advised otherwise.

  • REQUIRED CLASSES FOR TROUPE MEMBERS

    Below is the minimum class requirement for troupe members to attend each week to ensure they meet the expected standard to compete. It is recommended that our troupe students train in all styles of dance that are offered for their age group here at Dance On Pointe as they compete in various styles throughout the year.

  • PRE-K TROUPE - Jazz & 1 x troupe class per week

    6U TROUPE - Troupe Ballet, Troupe Jazz + Level Up

    8U TROUPE - Troupe Ballet, Troupe Jazz, Troupe Hip Hop, Troupe Lyrical + Level Up

    10U TROUPE - Ballet Tech, Troupe Jazz, Troupe Hip Hop, Troupe Lyrical + Level Up

    10U BALLET TROUPE - Must be enrolled into exam ballet 

    12U TROUPE - Ballet, Troupe Jazz, Troupe Hip Hop, Troupe Lyrical + Level Up

    12U TAP TROUPE - Troupe Tap + Regular Tap 

    12U ELEVATE TROUPE - Invitation only, must be enrolled into the elevate program

    12U/SNR MUSICAL THEATRE TROUPE - additional troupe class that students must be willing to stay for the open age sections at comps for if in the 12u age group.

    12U/SNR BALLET TROUPE - Must be completing their Intermediate Foundation exam + attending pointe class

    SENIOR TROUPE - This age group can pick which troupes they would like to be in, however all troupe students must attend ballet + level up ontop of their chosen troupe classes.

  • 12U STUDENTS PLEASE TICK WHICH TROUPES YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR (AGE 11-12yrs as at 1st January 2027)
  • SNR STUDENTS PLEASE TICK WHICH TROUPES YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR (Ages 13+ as at 1st January 2027)

  • TROUPE COMMITMENTS

    Being a member of troupe is a commitment that each student must see out for the entire year. Standards and expectations must be met as this is a team sport and failure to commit to the below will affect the rest of the troupe. Troupe members must have a 2027 Troupe Jacket (puffer jackets can still be worn in 2027 as a transition year).

  • PRE-K TROUPE FEES

    TROUPE FEE - $50 per student includes all school holiday/ extra rehearsals, troupe earrings, stockings, troupe gift, routine entries to comps, professional footage of routines on comp day, staff attendence on troupe days.

    PRE-K Troupe members are required to purchase 1 costume for the comp season. They will only be required to attend 2 x competitions throughout the year and 2-3 community events.

    6U TROUPE FEES

    TROUPE FEE - $120 per student includes choreography camp, all school holiday/ extra rehearsals, troupe earrings, stockings, troupe gift, routine entries to comps, professional footage of routines on comp day, staff attendence on troupe days.

    6U Troupe members are required to purchase 2 costumes.

    8U TROUPE FEES

    TROUPE FEE - $120 per student includes choreography camp, all school holiday/ extra rehearsals, troupe earrings, stockings, troupe gift, routine entries to comps, professional footage of routines on comp day, staff attendence on troupe days.

    8U Troupe members are required to purchase 4 costumes.

    10U TROUPE FEES

    TROUPE FEE - $120 per student includes choreography camp, all school holiday/ extra rehearsals, troupe earrings, stockings, troupe gift, routine entries to comps, professional footage of routines on comp day, staff attendence on troupe days.

    10U Troupe members are required to purchase 3 costumes.

    12U TROUPE FEES

    TROUPE FEES to be determined once guest choreographers are locked in. Approx $200. 

    14U/SENIOR TROUPE FEES

    TROUPE FEES to be determined once guest choreographers are locked in. Approx $200.  

    EXPECTATIONS

    Troupe members must attend a choreography 'camp' in January to learn their routines. Dates TBC. 

    Troupe members must have excellent attendance to all of their classes.

    Troupe members must be committed to practicing their routines at home every week.

    Troupe members must attend all scheduled performances (5 comps & 2-3 community events per year). Usually Saturday or Sunday performances. (Pre-K Troupe will only be required for 2 comps and 2-3 community events).

    Troupe members must be available for the required school holiday rehearsals and if they are unable to make it may be asked to book a private lesson or join via zoom.

    Troupe will travel to Bathurst Ooh La La comp
