  • Thanks for your inquiry about installing a Tesla Wall Connector.

We require all customers to answer the below questions to help us provide a quote that's as accurate as possible without having to attend your property. If further details are still needed a site inspection will need to be arranged.  For site inspections there is a fee of $185 incl. GST. If you are in an apartment building or complex, a site inspection is always required.

    PLEASE NOTE:

We are currently only providing free online quotes for 3-phase and 20A (4.8kW) connections.

If you would like a connection of more than 20A, we will need to attend your property in order to prepare an accurate quotation - for this there is a $185+gst site attendance & consultation fee.

Before answering the below questions, please read our website in regards to the types of charging available for EV's:

Please also use this calculator to familiarise yourself with charger outputs & charging times for your particular model. If you drive less than 100km a day on average, you'll see that you will need a lower power supply to your charger than you think:

(In Australia, we use 240V & most homes will have a 1 Phase connection. Ignore the outlet types and click 'Set own specs' )

  • SECTION 1

  • Queensland's power authorities have strict requirements for EV Charger connections; chargers can be connected to a 24/7 supply of 20A (Approx. 4.8kW), however if you would like your charger to supply more than 4.8kW, your charger must be connected to a controlled tariff via your meter which will disconnect your charger at peak times.

If you have 3-phase power at your home, these requirements don't apply to your home.

IMPORTANT: If you want to have a 32A connection, you must have a meter with the appropriate tariff. We cannot check this for you, and we can't tell from photos - customers must check this with their power retailer if they have the appropriate meter.

If you proceed with this option, we are assuming you've checked that you have the correct meter, and/or had the correct meter installed.

Please familiarise yourself with the Energex requirements, and potential fines & reciification fees if you have an EV Charger installed at more than 20A without the correct meter connection: https://www.energex.com.au/manage-your-energy/smarter-energy/electric-vehicles-ev/charging-your-ev

This is where the circuit breakers (sometimes incorrectly called 'fuses') for your home are. 2 photos needed - a wide angle showing the board and surrounding area (we must be able to see the floor and ceiling), and a close-up photo with the door open.
