Our most important ride rules are:

1. Helmets must be worn by all participants on our rides.
2. You must have current Colorado State Sticker on your vehicle and club recommends proof of Liability Insurance (required by most CO counties).
3. No alcohol or drugs on the ride.
Liability Waiver, Release, and Indemnity Agreement

In consideration for permission to be present at or participate in any “Events” activity in which PTR, its members, and others are involved such as trail rides, races, programs, training and instruction, meetings, parades, or other OHV(ATV, UTV, or Dirt Bikes) related activities; provided by Pagosa Trail Riders, Inc., an ATV Club and Colorado 501 (C) 7 Social Non-Profit corporation,(the “Released Party”) is defined to include, without any limitation, any and all of the following A) The Pagosa Trail Riders, Inc. organization. B) All officers, members, board members, representatives, and other agents of PTR.

Release – I voluntarily and unconditionally release Pagosa Trail Riders, Inc. (PTR), "Released Party" from any and all claims, damages, legal actions, and liability whatsoever, for any and all injuries to me and for all losses or damages that may occur as a result of or related to any of defined “Released Matters” these include A) My presence at any of the “Events” B) Any acts or omissions of PTR, its officers, or members acting in good faith at or during any of the above “Events”, to the fullest extent permitted by law. I understand that annual dues are not refundable.

Assumption of Risk – I acknowledge, understand, and agree that viewing, being present at, or physically participating in ATV motorsport activity could result in serious injury. I personally assume all risks and consequences of any injury, death, or damages which may occur as a result of being present at or participating in one of the “Events.”

Statutory Waiver and General Provisions – I expressly waive all rights under the appropriate Section of the Civil Code of the State of Colorado. This Liability Waiver, Release, and Indemnity Agreement: A) Constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. B) Shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with Colorado law. C) requires that venue for any disputes hereunder shall be in the State and Federal Courts of Archuleta County, Colorado. D) May not be waived, supplemented, or amended in any way in whole or in part except in writing signed by both the President and Vice-president of Pagosa Trail Riders, Inc.

Note – If I am signing on behalf of a participant who is a minor child, I warrant and represent that I have full legal authority to sign on behalf of such child and I agree and unconditionally guarantee that all provisions of this Agreement shall apply to and legally bind me as well as the minor child.
Note - Guests of members are required to fill out and sign a 'Pagosa Trail Riders, Inc. Membership' form.
