The goal with this form is to get to know your hair and hair goals, which will help us determine if you're a great fit for hand tied hair extensions. Completing this form will also help us be able to narrow down a price range for your specific goals and help answer some of your questions along the way.

Pricing and Maintenance Information

Thanks for taking an interest in Hand Tied Hair Extensions at Refinery Salon & Co in Cedar Rapids, IA.

FIRST TIME CLIENTS

Most first time clients can expect to invest $1300.00 and up (retainer included) depending on how much hair is needed, color and desired length.

This investment covers the Hand Tied Hair Extensions, Custom Color of both your hair and the extension hair, the installation, cut and style.

In order to book an appointment, there is a $500 non-refundable retainer. The retainer goes towards the overall cost of the appointment, with remaining balance due day of service.

HOW MANY ROWS WILL I NEED?

One Row: Fullness only, no length Starting at $1200+

Minimum of 4 Hand-tied wefts, 1 row installation for fullness to current length, custom coloring on natural hair.

Two Rows: Length and Volume (most common) Starting at $1900+

Minimum of 8 Hand-tied wefts, 2 row installation for clients with medium length hair (adds length and fullness) custom coloring on natural hair.

Three Rows: Total Transformation. Starting at $2300+

Minimum of 12 Hand-tied wefts, 3 row installation, custom color and dimensional coloring on natural hair

3 row total transformation adds length + fullness

4-5 rows needed for those with extremely dense (thick) hair, to break up a blunt haircut or for those looking to add a lot of length

Mini Row: For those with short layers.

This is used as a connecting piece to blend your natural hair and your hand tied hair extensions.

MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENTS

For my returning Hand Tied Hair Extension guests you can expect the following:

Move up of the extensions every 7-10 weeks.

Row One: $275
Row Two: $550
Row Three: $250 each additional row
*Does not include Color

Replace the hair extensions every 4-8 months with brand new hair.
Some choose to refresh some of the hair sooner.
I recommend replace 2-3 wefts every third maintenance appointment to keep the hair looking and feeling fresh.

Only your initial maintenance appointment is priced this way. Future appointments will be priced as listed above.

In order to book an appointment, there is a $200 non-refundable retainer for all new hand tied hair extension clients coming from another artist. The retainer goes toward overall cost of the appointment, with remaining balance due day of service.

There is no guarantee that previously purchased hair from another artist can be re-used.

*A 48 hour notice is required to reschedule appointment. You may reschedule your installation appointment once. Cancelled appointments on the day of forfeit retainers. All retainers are non-refundable.
