ACSD 2023 Workshop Proposal

Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for a workshop for ACSD 2023!  We want to share the best of our thoughts and practice as we gather again this coming summer.

Our goal is to provide our participants and presenters an opportunity to learn together and to collaborate as we explore relevant topics, fresh ideas, and avenues for growth.  Your proposal should seek to meet this goal as it provides challenge, encouragement, and inspiration for our diverse student affairs professionals.

Workshops should focus on the Great Purpose that is the profession and motivation of Student Development even as we face headwinds now and into the future. 

Proposals will be evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:

• Distinctly Christian approach to relevant topics
• Relation to conference theme and track topics
• Diversity of presenter voices
• Variety of topics
• Practical application
• Quality of content and expertise
• Relevance to current issues affecting student affairs professionals
• Alignment with ACSD purpose and core values

Workshop proposals can be submitted through April 2, 2023. After the deadline, proposals will be reviewed and presenters will be notified by April 17, 2023. 

With the submission of a proposal, the workshop selection committee assumes you plan to attend the conference in person. If your attendance plans change, please notify us by April 2, 2023 so we can take this into account during the selection process.
