Power Shift 2023 Content Proposal Form
The content proposal form is a place to leave your mark on the PS23 Convergence. A form to be a part of the collaborative intersectional environmental space. With three days of programming we hope to have a variety of narratives, arts, and climate lenses highlighted. We couldn't think of a better way to do this than allowing communities, activist, teachers, and organizers to lead and contribute to the direction of those programs! Sessions can be 45, 60, or 90 minutes each. Exact scheduling will be determined in early 2023.
Getting to know you!
The Power Shift 2023 Programming Team is committed to a convergence where the majority of our presenters / trainers / facilitators are Black, Indigenous, and/or POC, and where the presenters / trainers / facilitators also reflect a diversity of ages, socioeconomic classes, educational backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, races, and abilities, specifically prioritizing those who have been traditionally marginalized. We're asking the following questions to help hold ourselves accountable to those goals. For people who will not be able to do this without financial assistance there is compensation available. Reach out to mayana@powershift.org to discuss this further. Proposals will be taken into consideration until February 1st however proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis with a financial priority till the end of December. If applying January on, please have workshop/ panel/ art demonstration/ etc finalized for immediate turn over review!
