A NOTE ABOUT APPLE PODCASTS RATINGS
As part of your selected editing service, I will provide a suggested rating of the episode once I have completed the editing based upon the use of course or vulgar language, as I will be listening to it from start to finish. You are welcome to use or ignore my suggested rating, and the rating you provide will always prevail.
Please consider that Apple Podcasts takes the "Explicit / Clean" ratings very seriously, and if they receive enough complaints about your show being wrongly labeled, Apple may decide to pull your podcast from their platform. The suggested rating I provide is not a guarantee expressed or implied as to how Apple Podcasts or any other hosting service that serves your podcast will act based upon complaints about your show however.
The guidelines I use to make this suggestion are as follows (Please note that I do not make my evaluation based upon the content or subject matter of the episode):
- If it can safely pass for a Disney G-Rated animated cartoon and contains no course or vulgar language, I would suggest a "CLEAN" rating.
- If the course or vulgar language is excessive or contains words not typically found in a Disney G-Rated animated cartoon, I would suggest an "EXPLICIT" rating.
In paraphrashing Apple's own RSS feed guidelines they specify:
"EXPLICIT", indicating the presence of explicit content, Apple Podcasts displays an Explicit parental advisory graphic for your podcast.
Podcasts containing explicit material aren’t available in some Apple Podcasts territories.
"CLEAN", indicating that your podcast doesn’t contain explicit language or adult content, Apple Podcasts displays a Clean parental advisory graphic for your podcast.
