  • HOPE's Board is working board. Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every month, starting at 5:30 pm. We try to keep length of a meeting to an hour or at most 90 minutes. Elections occur in February. Board members are elected to 2-year terms, although Student Board members (high school or college) serve 1-year terms. Email and occasional Zoom or Facebook meetings may happen with advanced notice.  Hours of commitment would probably vary between 3-10 hours per month, depending on committee involvement and fundraiser activity.

Board is comprised of a minimum of 5 members to a maximum of 15 members. As of October 2022, the Board stands at 6 members. Officers are President, Secretary and a combined Vice-President/Treasurer.

    Current active committees:
    Animal Welfare – Budget & Finance – Building & Grounds – Employee & Volunteer Relations – Fundraising & Public Relations – Policy/Procedures & Bylaws – Spay/Neuter Program
