Late Policy:
On the date of the shoot, it is required of the Client to show up on time. If you are more than 5 minutes late for a mini-session or 10 minutes late for a regular session you will be rescheduled and charged a $99-$150 fee (pending session type). Late arrivals will result in time lost and time will not be pushed back. If the Client does not want to pay the rescheduling fee their session will be canceled with no refund. You must show up on time or shortly before your scheduled session time, up to fifteen minutes before your scheduled time is enough time to accommodate yourself with your surroundings and help find your location. For weddings, If you or the wedding is late, canceled, rescheduled, or happening differently than contracted after the 8-week buffer; no refunds, partial refunds, or credits will be issued to the party.
No-Show Policy:
If the client does not show up to their scheduled session, the client’s session/event/occasion is forfeited with no refund. If the Client chooses to reschedule another session fee is required to be paid.
Politeness Policy:
We ask that the Client respects the Photographer just as much as the Photographer respects the Client. If the Client becomes brazen, rude, or disrespectful to the Photographer, ThatJennaGirl has a right to cancel the remainder of the session/event/occasion with no penalty. The Client will receive no refund, no pictures, and will not be allowed to reschedule.
Non-Cooperative Clause:
ThatJennaGirl Photography is not responsible if the Client and/or key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during portrait sessions, or for missed images due to details not revealed to the Photographer. The photographer’s camera is the only camera allowed at the photo session/event/occasion because of the distraction it causes, especially to small children, which hinders the Photographer’s ability to obtain quality shots. Re-shoots will not be offered for poor choices in clothing, make-up, hair, weather-related and behavioral issues, or events that are beyond the Photographer’s control.
Rescheduling:
The photographer reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to inclement weather (this includes rain, intense wind, freeze warnings, heat waves, and snow), sickness, or family emergencies. Nonrefundable retainers will be transferred to another date. If a client chooses to reschedule their session/event/occasion due to the above, their nonrefundable retainers will be transferred to another date. Rescheduling sessions due to non-emergencies will result in a 50% rescheduling fee. Sick individuals, weather concerns, and family emergencies do not apply to the rescheduled fee.
Cancellation:
A minimum of 48 hours notice will be required for the cancellation of this Contract for regular sessions. Any cancellation made with less than 48 hours' notice before the agreed-upon service date will result in full payment. If Cancellation occurs within 48 hours ThatJennaGirl Photography will require a 50% rescheduling fee. If the Client does not show up to their scheduled time, without any notice, and wishes to reschedule, it will be a 50% rescheduling fee + full payment due upfront. Weddings and Events require an 8-week cancelation notice for a refund of 20% of the paid amount.
COPYRIGHT: As a client of ThatJennaGirl Photography, I acknowledge and understand that the images taken by ThatJennaGirl Photography, PHOTOGRAPHER; Jenna Thornton, are protected by Federal Copyright Laws. I understand it is ILLEGAL to copy or reproduce these photographs elsewhere without the PHOTOGRAPHER's permission, and violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. A limited PRINT RELEASE is supplied with the purchase of my session digital files to print your portraits for your personal use. The print release does not allow publication of your portraits (i.e. entering contests), selling, or altering your images without the PHOTOGRAPHER's permission. Reproduction includes, but is not limited to scanning, downloading, right-clicking, emailing, saving to harddrive, posting on websites or blogs, photocopying, obtaining screenshots, or printing in any manner. I agree to honor the copyright laws as stated in this agreement.
PORTRAIT AGREEMENT & MODEL RELEASE: I have read and agree to the following statement: I commission ThatJennaGirl(Jenna Thornton) Photography, the photographer, to photograph myself and/or my underage children. I hereby grant Jenna Thornton, and her legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of myself, family, and/or child(ren), or in which myself, family, and/or children will be included for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner or medium; to alter the same without restriction, and to copyright the same. I hereby release Jenna Thornton and her legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. I agree with the use of photographs to be shared on all social media platforms.
Location:
The location will be outdoors unless planned otherwise for regular sessions. The location will be planned out by the photographer. You will be sent information on the morning of your appointment with all details.
Turn-around Time: The normal turnaround time for you to receive your gallery is 3 weeks. During peak season, delays are expected with a 5-week turnaround time. Weddings have a turnaround time of 8-10 weeks.
Getting Photos with any other of my farm animals? Here are a few policies in place for the safety of you and your family:
-Please ensure your child is comfortable and excited about seeing a live scheduled animal. We will not be able to provide a refund if your child is uncomfortable.
-DO NOT approach the animals without one of us next to you!
-Children need to be supervised at ALL times. There will be NO running up to any of the animals, slow easy motions do best. ThatJennaGirl Photography is not liable or responsible for injury due to insubordination of policies or under any circumstance.
By signing below you certify that You are at least 18 years of age. You have read this portrait agreement/contract and fully understand the contents thereof. You agree that you have the legal authority to grant these permissions and accept all responsibility for such for each person attending the session.
REAL ESTATE:
-If your appointment is scheduled and the home is not ready after I arrive, there is a $50 rescheduling fee. No refunds will be given.
-If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give a 24-48 hour notice.
-A travel fee may be applied if the home is outside the service area.
