Who we are :Purpose and Mission

Unload it Therapy is an inclusive mental health space led by BIPOC therapists and staff for BIPOC and queer people. We are an LGBTQIA2SP+ affirming practice, specializing in individual, couple, and family counseling. It is our honor to treat all of our clients with individualized care and to provide them with high-end, quality therapeutic services with top-notch clinical care. We provide tools for people to rely on themselves and empower and educate highly motivated people with tools to forge healthier and stronger relationships.

At Unload It Therapy, we commit to helping our clients gain relationships with themselves and their loved ones by creating a supportive environment where our clients can process and explore what is weighing them down, expanding self-awareness and self-perception. We stand alongside our clients, making them aware that they are now supported in a non-judgmental fashion, and no longer have to walk alone. We create the space so that clients can bring their whole selves along in this journey, and unload what no longer serves them.

Why We Need You :

Unload It Therapy, PLLC is a growing private practice in the heart of Houston. We are a group of BIPOC therapists, who pride ourselves on being culturally competent and inclusive therapists. At UIT, we have a focus on working systemically with relational dynamics (couples and families) and currently offer individual, couples, and family therapy.

If you are an MFT student, Associate or Fully licensed Therapist, we are looking for you! Our therapists work with youth, adults, couples, and families. You will have supervision with a Texas state and AAMFT-approved supervisor (in training) to make sure you have the best marriage and family therapy training! Our supervisors are compassionate and nurturing, with a variety of experiences in the field.
