    Request for Architectural Approval

  • The Garden Lakes Community Association's Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) Article IV. Section 4.2, (a) requires that a homeowner obtain prior written approval for any exterior alterations or additions to property within the Garden Lakes Community. Please submit only one item per form. If more than one item is included on one form, the entire project may be disapproved if one of the items does not meet the criteria for approval. Please include all required information. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please refer to the Architectural Guidelines for more information.

  • Paint brand, color name, and number:

  • * Unless a wall is a common wall, all property walls are owners' responsible to maintain, both color and condition. The color of the wall must match or compliment the color of the house, subject to Architectural Review Committee Approval.

  • Please include paint chips, gravel samples, and diagrams as appropriate.

  • The Homeowner agrees to maintain the improvement if approved by the Board of Directors or their duly appointed representative. If, in the view of the Board of Directors, the improvement is not being maintained, the Association has the right to remove or maintain the improvement with the Homeowner bearing all costs. The Homeowner agrees to comply with all city, county, and state laws and to obtain all necessary permits. By signing this form you agree that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein. A $500 fine will be imposed for projects started before approval.
