Choosing Eligibility based on Residence Status:

Contestant must be a legal resident of the City/County in which she competes locally for at least thirty (30) days prior to her Local Competition. If Contestant seeks to establish Geographic Eligibility based on Bona Fide Residency, she must provide a copy of a valid driver's license issued in her name and in the state in which she will compete as well as one of the following indicia of residency: A) current voter registration card in Contestant's name; B) current lease in Contestant's name for housing in the State and Local area; C) current utility bill in Contestant's name for an address in the State and Local area; D) current vehicle registration in Contestant's name issued by the applicable State; E) federal student loan correspondence or notices on which Contestant is named as primary or secondary in the applicable State; F) if Contestant is not a licensed driver she will need to present two (2) forms of proof of bona fide residency from the list immediately noted above.

Choosing Eligibility based on Student Status:

Contestant must be enrolled as a full-time student (full-time student status as determined by the school) at an accredited college or university located within the state by the first day of the State Competition.
Contestant must provide proof of current full-time student status in the form of a copy of an official certified transcript or certification by the school registrar of enrollment.  If Contestant is enrolled in an "online" educational program, then the Geographic Eligibility shall default to the State where Contestant meets either the requirements for Bona Fide Residence or Employment.

Choosing Eligibility based on Employment Status:

Contestant must be a full-time employee (full-time defined as an average of no less than 30 hours per week) working in the geographic area of her Local Competition for at least thirty (30) days immediately preceding her Local Competition if she competed for her title, or in the state of Oregon if she is competing At-Large.  Such employment must be verified by Contestant's employer declaring such status in writing or the Contestant must provide copies of pay stubs, W-2 forms, income tax filing, or other relevant documentation to prove full-time employment status.

All supporting documents shall be attached in either PDF (preferred), JPG or PNG format only, and named using our standard format (ex: SusanJones-Jonestown-Eligibility1.pdf). Use sequential numbering when 2 documents must be attached for the same eligibility option.
