2025 LOCAL QUALIFIER - HOST CLUB AGREEMENT

The PGA of Canada is so fortunate to have the support of some of Canada’s largest corporations with this program. To keep the program viable and continue to provide world-class golf experiences for golfers across the country, the CLUB may be asked to host teams representing a program sponsor. Sponsor teams or representatives may contribute to the Local Qualifier through greeting the competitors on a hole or prior to the round, speaking post-round and/or providing gifts/prizing. Should an event be cancelled for any reason, the CLUB agrees to host the sponsor team(s) on the original event date or provide a free foursome pass for an alternate date.
DATE SELECTION
In order to manage the event schedule, the selected event date may not be changed or postponed after March 31st. Should your event need to be cancelled for any reason, we require a minimum notice of 10 business days. Any event cancelled within 10 bussiness days of the event date will incur an admin fee of $75.
SUSPENSION OF PLAY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER AND/OR DARKNESS
In the case of weather delays or the inability to complete a local qualifying event due to darkness, the Club MUST contact the PGA of Canada to inform them of the situation. A final decision will be reached collaboratively with the Club and PGA of Canada.
SIGNAGE

Assign a representative from the club to conduct registration upon player arrivals. The registration table will be decorated with an RBC PGA Scramble table cover.

Will use the Golf Genius software provided for all tournament-related matters such as pairings, registration, scorecards, scoring, etc. To ensure the accuracy of scoring to the standards of the RBC PGA Scramble, it is imperative that all scores are entered into the Golf Genius system immediately following the conclusion of play. Any alterations of this must be pre-approved by the PGA of Canada. Technical support is offered through both Golf Genius and the PGA of Canada.
