Professional Development Scholarship Application

Though EPI is a nonprofit with a small operating budget, we understand the power of quality PD opportunities and acknowledge that barriers and inequality exist in terms of accessing PD funding. Therefore, we maintain a pool of funds to help support teachers looking to participate. Scholarships range from $150-600, so applicants must plan to fund the remainder of the course costs.

Eligilibity Requirements:

Applicants must be enrolled in a professional development course before their application will be considered.
Applicants who are already receiving a discount, using a voucher, or participating in a subsidized course are not eligible for financial aid.

Completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Awards are contingent upon the applicant having paid their $350 deposit towards their course. If awarded, applicants will have a limited amount of time to submit the initial $350 deposit, or otherwise forfeit the financial aid award.

All applications must be received prior to the final payment deadline (2 months prior to the course).

If you are a Fellowship applicant, please do not complete this scholarship application requesting additional funding; financial support is part of the Fellowship application process and Fellows will be notified of any additional support we are able to offer when they are accepted into the Fellowship program.
