  • RHI BUILD Exercise Physiology Disclaimer

    1. Cancellations 

    RHI BUILD understands that unexpected events and emergency's do happen and will try to be as accommodating as possible. If a rescheduled appointment can be arranged on the same day, RHIBUILD will endeavour to change the time for you. In the circumstance, that the appointment needs to be cancelled, we will abide by following:

    Appointments for face-to-face and online services will be scheduled directly between Rhiannon Keith and the client.

    The client must contact RHI BUILD 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.

    If a client does not cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance, RHI BUILD  reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to a full training session fee that would normally be charged for the session.

    If a client is on a PT package - one session will be deducted.

    2. Late Arrivals

    Sessions will not be extended due to the lateness of the client. In the unlikely event that RHI BUILD need to commence your session 5-10 minutes outside your booked appointment time, it will still go for the full allocated time. If you know you are running late, please notify me as soon as practical. 

    3. No-Show

    If you do not turn up after 15 minutes without any notice of being late – you will be classified as a “no show” and charged the full amount for the session. RHI BUILD will attempt to contact you and has the right to leave 15 minutes after the session was due to commence.

    4. Payment 

    All services must paid for prior to their commencement. For in-person clients, payment can be made with the preferred method of cash or via debit card via Square. For online clients can do the preferred method of direct transfer or alternatively can be set up on an electronic direct debit (small fees apply).
     

    5. Refunds

    You are not entitled to a refund if you have changed your mind after a purchase is final.

    6. Hours of contact 

    Coach and client contact should remain inside weekdays 6am-9pm. Sessions text reminders are automated and sent 12 hours in advance.

    7. Preparedness

    It is your responsibility to be organised and prepared for your session. No towel, means no train. Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate closed-in footwear to your session. Should you come in the incorrect footwear you must forfeit your session. 

    8. What to expect

    Depending on your current physical condition, experiencing muscle soreness 2-4 days post session is completely normal and is a sign that you put in the effort. This will ease as you go.

    9. Recovery & Nutrition 

    To help your body fuel up prior to your session and to promote recovery post workout, eat a healthy balanced diet, incorporating approx 50% a carbohydrate 35% protein and 15% fat. Getting adequate sleep and appropriate hydration will aid the recovery process. Participating in light-moderate activity (light walk, swimming) the next can can help speed up recovery.

    10. Confidentiality

    All the information you provide and disclose in session will be kept private and confidential at all times.

  • Exercise Physiology Informed Consent & Waiver

    Qualification: Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP)

     
    1. Nature of Services

    The exercise physiology services provided by Rhiannon Keith / RHI BUILD include, but are not limited to, exercise assessment, prescription, rehabilitation, education, and general health and fitness programming. Services may be delivered in person, in gym or community settings, in the home, or online.

    These services are provided for health, fitness, rehabilitation, and functional improvement purposes and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

     
    2. Medical Disclosure & Responsibility

    By participating in this service, you confirm that:

    • You have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, injuries, diagnoses, medications, pregnancy or post-partum status, and any changes to your health.

    • You agree to notify Rhiannon Keith / RHI BUILD of any changes to your medical condition during the course of services.

    • You have been advised to seek clearance from a general practitioner or relevant medical specialist where appropriate.


    Failure to disclose relevant information may increase your risk of injury.

     
    3. Risks of Exercise

    You acknowledge that participation in exercise and physical activity involves inherent risks, which may include but are not limited to:

    • Muscle soreness or strain
    • Sprains or soft tissue injury
    • Exacerbation of pre-existing conditions
    • Cardiovascular or neurological events (rare but possible)
    • Injury resulting from equipment use, environment, or fatigue

     
    These risks exist even when exercise is performed correctly and under professional supervision.

     
    4. Participation & Informed Consent 

    You confirm that:

    • You are a willingly participating
    • The nature, and potential risks of Exercise Physiology services have been explained to you
    • You have had the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered to your satisfaction
    • You understand that you may stop or modify participation at any time


    5. No Guarantee of Results


    While all reasonable care is taken to design and deliver evidence-based programs tailored to your needs, no specific outcomes or results are guaranteed. Individual responses to exercise vary.

     
    6. Online & Remote Services


    Where services or programs are delivered online or remotely, you acknowledge that:

    • You are responsible for ensuring a safe exercise environment
    • You will cease exercise and seek advice if pain, dizziness, or unusual symptoms occur
    • Remote supervision may limit the ability to physically correct technique

     
    7. Waiver & Limitation of Liability

     
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Rhiannon Keith / RHI BUILD, are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in Exercise Physiology services or reliance on information provided, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

     
    Nothing in this waiver excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
