the 2026 Patrocinio De Guzman Scholarship until January 18, 2026 (11:59 PM PST).

This scholarship honors the legacy of Patrocinio De Guzman, a mother of eight who embodied resilience, service, and unwavering faith. Her life reminds us that education and determination can transform generations.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

Be a single mother raising one or more children
Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a technical, vocational, or higher education program
Commit to completing their studies and quarterly progress reports
Participate in mentorship and group activities
Engage with the single-moms community group for peer support
Not exceed four scholarship terms total (maximum of four-year support)

Scholarship Benefits

$1,000 USD toward tuition or required educational materials
One-year mentorship for professional, personal, and wellness growth

I, grant permission to Hizon International Foundation, and its members, agents and employees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to reproduce the photographs and/or video images given by or taken of me, or members of my family, for the purpose of publication, promotion, illustration, advertising, or trade, in any manner or in any medium. It will be used to elevate the mission of Hizon International Foundation to promote and create opportunities to enhance people’s lives for a path to a better future. I hereby release Hizon International Foundation, and its legal representatives for all claims and liability relating to said images or video. Furthermore, I grant permission to use my statements that were given on the application, during an interview or guest lecture, with or without my name, for the purpose of advertising and publicity without restriction. I waive my right to any compensation.*

HIF will determine eligibility at its sole discretion. Partners or relations of partner staff of the institutions involved in the launch of scholarship, and relations of the judging committee are not eligible to apply.
