The Hizon International Foundation welcomes applications for the 2025 Patrocinio De Guzman Scholarship until January 8, 2025.

This initiative is dedicated to supporting single mothers advancing their education. It honors the enduring spirit of Patrocinio De Guzman, a remarkable woman who raised her eight children single-handedly after the loss of her husband to cancer. She embodied resilience, service, and unwavering faith. Through her teachings, she emphasized the power of determination in overcoming life's challenges. Patrocinio's legacy continued until she reached the age of 105, passing away on December 2, 2021.

Eligibility:

Single mothers raising children.
Currently enrolled in a technical/vocational degree or higher.

Scholarship Benefits:
- $1000USD towards tuition fees.
- One-year mentorship.

- All materials must be submitted by the deadline.
- Applications will be assessed by The Hizon International Foundation panel.
- Finalists will partake in online interviews on either January 25 or 26, 2025.
- Recipients announced in February 2025.
- Funds disbursed upon class enrollment verification in March 2025.

HIF will determine eligibility at its sole discretion. Partners or relations of partner staff of the institutions involved in the launch of scholarship, and relations of the judging committee are not eligible to apply.
