The Kolbinger Park is a public area and the rental is only for the shelter facilities. By signing the following rental agreement, the renter agrees to abide by all requirements and accepts all responsibility for any damages that may occur.
a. The shelter reservation is not official until this rental agreement has been completed and the rental fee and damage deposit have been paid. Renters are encouraged to secure a confirmed reservation as soon as possible.
b. Shelter rental is non-refundable, and there are no exceptions to this policy. Renter may reschedule date of shelter reservation (if done at least one month in advance of reservation) if space is available.
c. Renters are permitted to use the shelter for the time agreed upon in the rental contract. Park hours are from 6:00am-10:00pm.
d. Renters must be at least eighteen years of age and the event must be supervised by a responsible adult eighteen years of age or older at all times.
e. Renters are prohibited from using the park shelter for personal or commercial profit or gain, or for events for which an admission will be charged (without written approval from the City). Please contact us for information regarding a Special Event Use Application.
f. Renters are responsible for the conduct of guests during the rental period. Any public nuisance may, at the discretion of law enforcement, be grounds for ejection from the facilities.
g. Parking is permitted in designated areas only. Parking along the side of the road as well as overnight parking is prohibited.
h. Key for access to the bathrooms is located in the drawer under the microwave. Please return to that spot when finished with it.
i. Shelter must be left in clean and orderly condition, belongings removed, and trash put in the containers that are provided. Please bag up trash and leave in the park building. Tables and chairs are to be set up and taken down by the renter.
j. The damage deposit will be refunded by mail within two weeks if the premises are left in the same condition as they were found prior to the rental.
k.
