Use for special topics (e.g., COM 371) or non-preapproved Acadeum courses.
This form may be used to request approval of a course that has already been taken or that you intend to take. It is advisable that you discuss any special topics or non-preapproved Acadeum courses with your advisor before enrolling. You do not need to complete this form if you are registering for a preapproved Acadeum course. In addition, requests to approve COM courses other than COM271 or 371 (special topics courses) will be denied. COM222 Journalism in the Digital Age and COM225 Principles of Strategic Communication have been preapproved and do not require you to submit this form.
