Donate to Support the NVFC First Responder Helpline
Firefighting and emergency response are stressful jobs with high levels of risk, unpredictability, and exposure to trauma. In addition, volunteer responders are often juggling their fire service responsibilities with full time jobs and family commitments. All these factors can have an impact on the wellbeing of responders and their families.
The NVFC First Responder Helpline provides confidential assistance available 24/7 to help NVFC members and their household family with an immediate crisis and for a variety of work-life stresses. The services offered through the helpline are similar to those offered by an Employee Assistance Program, and include counseling, resources, and referrals to assistance for a range of issues.
We need your support to help keep this critical service free to those who need it. Your contribution will ensure that those who call will receive the help they need when they need it.
