ABOUT THIS CLASS:

Join award-winning children's author, illustrator & musician, Sara Ernst for 30 minutes of learning about & loving nature! Sara's music has been heard all over the world, featured in The Washington Post, in the 1000 Hours Outside Podcast, and more. Sara has even created learning courses for the Eastern Region Association of Forest Schools.

Children ages 3-8 will especially enjoy hunting for a stick to "show" & "use" in this class! Not only will we be using our imaginations, but we will be gaining knowledge about nature around us, and developing more empathy for the bugs who dwell nearby.

As cold weather is setting in, children will learn how they can help the creatures in nature (whether in the woods or their backyard) and...we will end with a sing-along of "The Stick Song", "Ootheca" & "The Bug Song"!
