Reflection Questions:

1. Despite the unrest that seems to be all around us, do you believe there is still a promise of rest? If so, how have you responded to God’s call to rest?
2. This passage spoke of a Sabbath rest that remains for the people of God (v.9). How does a promise of permanent rest change how you live today? Do you practice a Sabbath rest?
3. Why do you think so many of us try to “work” toward God’s favor? How do you struggle in this way?
4. How are you encouraged by the fact that we can rest in the promises of the Gospel? How does this truth actually challenge you to live with a greater urgency to live for Christ?
