UNLEASHED K9 PERFORMANCE BARN HUNT DROP-IN POLICIES:
Sorry to have to spell all this out but we have had issues in the past so I want to make the rules VERY clear and explain the reasoning:
-
Proof of current vaccines (parvo/distemper/rabies) required for EVERY dog coming onto the property IN ADVANCE - this means if you bring extra dogs that need to go out to pee - we must see vaccines - note that this is our livelihood we teach puppy classes and in addition I breed dogs and have litters of puppies. We MUST receive proof of vaccines to be kept on file PRIOR to you coming. They can be emailed to:
info@unleashedk9.ca
-
A spot is not reserved until we receive payment. You must pay via e-transfer to:
info@unleashedk9.ca
$20 per dog. No refunds - if you can't make it - so if you aren't sure - don't book. Check weather in advance if you are concerned about driving conditions before booking. I don't have time to substitute people, check vaccines, refund, chase down payment. This is being offered as there are not indoor places to train barn hunt - If this becomes too stressful I will no longer offer it to others.
-
There is a designated ROPED OFF potty area for your dogs - this is the ONLY area to walk your dogs in and you must pick up after your dogs.
-
Dogs must be on leash at all times except when it is their turn in the training hall in the barn hunt ring.
-
Do not approach the livestock with or without your dog - this is for safety and biosecurity (& see #3 for where to walk dog)
-
If your dog pees or poops on a bale of straw - it is $10.00 per bale - so bring cash, be ready to e-transfer or if worried put a belly band on your male dog or pants on your female. I am paying between $7.00 - $8.00 per bale of straw. I have to drive over an hour round trip to pick up straw - then load it, unload it, store it etc. So understand that if everyone's dog "just peed on one bale" I am out hundreds of dollars to replace the straw PLUS travel time/loading/unloading.
-
Covid masks are required in the building.
-
Please bring and put on a pair of indoor clean rubber soled shoes in the training hall - we have over $12,000 of rubber matting we want to protect. If you forget your shoes - sock feet it is :)
-
If dogs show aggression - they will be excused for safety reasons
