     The NADSA Conference Committee is seeking proposals for presentations in the following Learning Tracks:

    1. Diagnosis-Specific Best Practices and Research (including Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Disability)
    2. ADS Center Operations
    3. Strategies and Innovations to Strengthen the ADS Industry

    All proposals must be submitted electronically by March 3, 2023

    The average session length is 60 minutes, and speakers are requested to allow a brief time for Q&A. Note: September 27th sessions are Pre-conference sessions which are three hours in length with a 15-minute break.

    General Information for Speakers
    As a nonprofit organization, NADSA is unable to provide airfare, hotel costs, or an honorarium for presenters. Presenters wishing to attend the Conference programs must pay the appropriate registration fee. This applies to lead presenters, panelists, and all supporting presenters. All presenters and co-presenters/panelists are required be members of NADSA. Exceptions are only granted in rare circumstances and are at the discretion of the Executive Director.

    All presenters are required to bring their own laptops for making presentations. Presentations are expected to be shared with conference staff by July 14th for inclusion in the Conference App.

  •  PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: March 3, 2023
    To be considered, proposals must include ALL requested information.

    REGISTRATION DEADLINE FEES

    All Presenters MUST register by July 14, 2023 (Early Bird Registration deadline). Presenter registration is a requirement to present at the conference.

    LEAD PRESENTERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES*

    • Provide complete information for up to three (3) proposed presenters per session. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
    • Review Submission Guidelines with each presenter prior to proposal submission.
    • Provide a Bio for each proposed presenter.
    • Communicate the accept/decline status of the proposal to all additional presenters.
    • Allow NADSA to list your contact information on printed, electronic, and online materials.
    • All Presenters' must register for the conference.
  • SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    All submitters are required to provide the following information:

    • Main Presenter Contact Information Main Presenter Bio (75 words max)
    • Additional Presenter(s) Contact Information (3 additional max)
    • Additional Presenter(s) Bio(s) (75 words max, per Bio)
    • Session Title (NADSA may edit for clarity/space)
    • Three (3) Learning Objectives (required for CEU approval)
    • Session Description (100 words max, NADSA may edit for clarity/space)
    • Biographies must be included to be considered.

    SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

    To submit a session proposal, please follow these submission guidelines:

    • All EDUCATION sessions will be 60 minutes (no mid-session break); please allow time for a brief Q&A. Note: September 27th sessions are Pre-conference sessions which are three hours in length with a 15-minute break.
    • All proposals must be educational in nature – session platform, audio-visual materials, or handout materials cannot be used to showcase, promote or sell business products/services.
    • There is no fee to submit a proposal, but you must be a current NADSA member to present at the conference.
    • Presentations should focus on current or emerging issues, challenges, best practices, or other key areas of interest to Adult Day Services.

    PROPOSAL STATUS NOTIFICATION: We will do our best to notify you by
    June 16, 2023.

    Acceptance may be contingent upon your willingness to combine elements of your proposal with another presenter/proposal. Please hold the conference dates of September 27-29, 2023 open until notified of your proposal status.
