The Rainier Agility Team (RAT) is a non-profit organization promoting the sport of dog agility
Types of Membership and Dues:
• Individual Membership: One vote at club meetings, $25.00/year
• Family Membership: Up to two votes at club meetings, $30.00/year
Dues for new memberships received after July 1st are prorated to half the annual rate. All memberships are renewable at the end of the calendar year and are due by Feb 15th. Past this date, membership expires and must be re-applied for as a
returning member. New members will receive one year of gifted MIGS status after attending their first club meeting or volunteering at a RAT event. Gifted MIGS do not have voting privileges.

How to Become a Member of the RAT:
1. Complete the online form below and subimt your payment
2. Once your application has been received you will be added to the club internet list and you will be introduced to the club via email.
3. Then there is a 30-day period within which RAT members can submit written objection to your membership. If there are no objections, after this you are officially a member.
4. After you attend one general RAT meeting or volunteer at a RAT event, you will have gifted MIGS status and be eligible for all of the benefits of a MIGS, except for the right to vote. This special gifted status only applies to people who have not previously been a RAT member. Once you have volunteered at two trials you will have the right to vote.
Once You Become A RAT Member:
RAT is a working club! To provide trials and other club services, we rely on the voluntary participation of our members. Once you become a RAT member, get the most out of your membership through active involvement in club activities - volunteer to work at trials, serve on a committee, and attend RAT meetings!
To qualify for MIGS status after the first year, and keep voting privileges, you must have attended at least one club meeting and worked at least 2 RAT sponsored trials in the previous 12 months. We encourage you to begin working for MIGS status as soon as possible after you join RAT to retain all of your member benefits past your first year.
