The goal of the Trails Grant for Winnipeg is to provide funds for projects that advance recreational trail development within Winnipeg.

Applications must be electronically submitted before the deadline of (January 13, 2023) through our Trails Manitoba Website.

DIRECTIONS: Please provide a detailed line-item budget using the suggested headings. Please include project management costs within the budget. Also, please include/identify in-kind contributions where applicable.
SECTION A: PERSONNEL/ADMINISTRATION
List all personnel/contractor(s) that you intend to hire; the total number of hours they will work; the rate of pay and calculate the total cost. Include costs of administering the project. Stipends and honorariums are typically discouraged; if you are requesting this, you must include a reasonable estimate of total hours and a justification in the comments section for not using an hourly rate.
SECTION B: EQUIPMENT
List each item that you will need to purchase/rent if applicable; where it will be purchased/rented; the number of items required; and the total cost for those items (including taxes, shipping, etc.). For equipment purchases (individual items OR all items combined) over $5,000, rationalization must be provided.
SECTION C: CONSTRUCTION/ENGINEERING/SOFTWARE
This section is to identify costs related to executing the project in terms of physical construction or acquisition of goods. Please indicate in the Construction Description whether the specific items are actual costs (results of a Request for Proposal or quote) or estimates
SECTION E: OTHER
Your project may include some other expenses that do not fit well into the above categories. Use this section for any remaining costs, including a justification.
