The Alliance to Mobilize Our Resistance (AMOR) is a network founded by a coalition of directly affected and people of color led organizations in Providence. The Alliance responds to individual and institutional acts of violence with a focus on the Immigration system. A large part of AMOR's work is defending communities in the Northeast that are under threat of deportation and violence from ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).

Our work is divided in a few different areas

• AMOR's Community Response Team organizes to bring resources to folks detained at the Wyatt, they meet bi-weekly and organize community events and actions to mobilize our community.
• The Transportation Team supports folks in the commuity with getting to importnant appointments and accessing resources
• Our Fundraising Team meets bi-weekly and works to keep the organization structure, office, and staff funded, by organizing fundraisers and donar drives.
• We also welcome volunteer support for our monthly community events doing things like child care, set-up and break-down.
