About Ben Hudson:

Ben is the co-founder of sensory health, a Texas based company aiming to increase equality in healthcare for individuals impacted by sensory needs. Roughly 1 in 6 people in the United States is impacted by some form of sensory needs, and patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities frequently carry significant sensory issues. Ben’s passion is finding ways to raise the collective understanding of sensory issues such that we can better prepare for, understand, and treat patients with sensory needs. With the knowledge that there are unavoidable issues that patients with IDD will face regardless of how informed and prepared the provider is, it is integral that providers AND patients and caregivers understand the changes we can make to better support everybody involved in the dental care process.

The Isaac Knapp District Dental Society (IKDDS) is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider provided by the Indiana Dental Association. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Isaac Knapp District Dental Society designates this course for 4 continuing education credits.
