Section 30, Option to remove the word LIMITED from your Company Name
You have the option to omit the word "Limited" from the end of your company name. Many charitable or not-for-profit organisations choose this option, as "Limited" is often associated with profit-making or commercial businesses.
Your company will still be a Limited by Guarantee entity but will be registered under Section 30 of the Companies Act 2006, allowing the omission of the word "Limited" from its name.

VATYou must register for VAT if your VAT taxable turnover goes over £85,000 (the 'threshold'), or you know that it will. Your VAT taxable turnover is the total of everything sold that is not VAT exempt. You can also register voluntarily; some believe being VAT registered reflects professionalism.
