  • Every participant is responsible for raising/paying $1,100. However, when funds are raised through fundraiser events(Easter offering, dessert auction, etc) the funds are split among the participants. Would you prefer to pay the entire balance yourself, instead of having some of these funds go towards your balance?

  • If you are interested in participating in a short-term mission tripo with the Church of Christ at Manor Woods, please read the following and sign in agreement of the terms:

    *Participants must be ages 15+

    *If for some reason a participant is unable to fulfill the commitment to go on the trip after airline tickets have been purchased. They will still be responsible for paying in full for ticket.

    *Participants must adhere to rule outlined in the team covenant. Please read it before applying.

    *Short-term mission trips can be rewarding and life-changing; however, they can also be stressful. Please consider physical, spiritual and emotion factors in your personal life that may distract and prohibit you from fully committing to the mission of the trip and adapting to unusual conditions.

    *Once accepted, team members MUST attend ALL team meetings:

    June 4th Team Member Retreat

    June 18th Church Praying Over Us

    *All trip costs are the team member's responsibility

    *I will be responsible of attending all financial fundraisers that are required of me.

    *Financial Guidleline Dates:

    Deposit:  $100 due by January 8

    First Payment:  $300 due by February 19

    Second Payment:  $400 due by April 16

    Third Payment:  $200 by May 14

    Final Payment:  $100 due by June 4

  • MISSION TRIP TEAM COVENANT

  • As a team member of this trip, I agree to:

    1. Remember that I am representing Jesus Christ as well as the Church of Christ at Manor Woods. I will model Jesus in my behavior and attitude.

    2. Remember that I am a guest working at invitation of my hosts. I will remember the missionary’s prayer: "Where you lead me I will follow; what they feed me I will swallow."

    3. Remember that we have come to learn, as well as to teach. I’ll resist temptation to inform our hosts about “how we do things.” I’ll be open to learning about other people’s methods and ideas.

    4. Develop and maintain a servant attitude toward all nationals and my teammates.

    5. Respect my team leaders(s) decisions.

    6. Refrain from complaining. Travel can present numerous unexpected and desired circumstances, but the rewards of conquering such circumstances are innumerable. Instead of whining and complaining, I’ll be creative and supportive.

    7. ATTEND ALL TEAM MEETINGS!

    8. No illegal drugs, alcohol, or weapons (includes knives) on this trip.

    9. Abide by the fund-raising procedures endorsed by Church of Christ at Manor Woods and will personally thank all financial donors that contribute to my trip.

    10. Remember that I can be sent home if I do not adhere to this Covenant or if my team leader believes it is in my best interest or that of the team.
