Concession stands will be available and teams will be provided with fruit and hydration stations-no outside food or beverages.
****Note: The only people that will be granted entrance to the show without a nominal fee are ⮚Coaches (2) ⮚Director (1)
Additional Coach passes and makeup artist entry tickets will need to be purchased during the time of presales to be included in the check in package. If not purchased prior to competition check in they will be subject to paying regular door prices. No one will be allowed to walk in with team during check in EXCEPT those with badges
Teams will have 7mins to mock the floor, the show will be set in time stamps so the show will be run in a timely and smooth manner!!!

Point System and Scoring -All teams will be scored on a point system of 100 points (PER JUDGE)

3. TEAMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE PROPS IN STAND BATTLE

7. NO NEGATIVITY PERIOD!
8. NO TALKING DURING THE STAND BATTLE (COACHES OR KIDS)
9. SPORTSMANSHIP PLEASE!
10. NO MARCHING BOOTS ALLOWED ON THE FLOOR

1. CROSSING THE LINE (ANY PART OF YOUR BODY) STAND BATTLE
2. COACHES OR PARENTS APPROACHING THE JUDGES OR OTHERS FROM ANOTHER TEAM
3. NO PERFORMING WITH FIRE
4. NO MOVING WHILE OTHER TEAM IS PERFORMING (HANDS, BODY OR MAKING FACES AT THE OTHER TEAM)

*DIV I Categories:
-WALKTHRU(COMBINED): Introduce your team to do the judges and the crowd. This category will bejudged. Dancers MUST go around the gym, strut their stuff and then stop in front of the judges for a 32count. Parents, coaches, and alumnis are welcomed to join in and get your team shown! Remember whatthey say “1st impressions are everything” and this would be yours so make it a good 1! Use your own music-3min max
-SHOWTIME CREATIVE (COMBINED): This category should mimic the movie of your choice, get ready for the lights, camera, action! Bring your actress/actors to the stage and wow the crowd. Make them want to give a standing ovation! Use your own music PROPS ARE RECOMMENDED -4min max
-CALL OUT TAG DUO(COMBINED): This is where you take 2 of your best dancers to show off their amazing moves. The kicker is they will have to pull a card to see what their dance fate is. Your 2 dancers go on floor with team 1 other team, a judge will pull a card that will say either DANCE or TRICKS. That means for the 1st 30 secs you will only be able to do what that card says for the 1st 30sec, they will then tag in their partner to complete the dance and that partner can do anything they like for the next 30 secs, as long as the 1st dancer has tagged in the 2nd dancer they can do what they like: they can do tricks, stunts, dance alone, or
dance together. Be creative with it! Only 1 team will advance to the final round. Prepare for 2 rounds, 1:10 music mix will be given. Use floor we want to see high energy and execution of moves
DANCE= straight choreo no stunts for at least 30 sec straight
TRICKS=stunts and choreo CAN be added for at least 30 sec straight
DIV II:
-PARADE INTO FIELDSHOW (COMBINED): Keep in mind this is a parade that you would do outside, so march, struct, on to the court, then transition to showcase your fieldshow with majorette/hip hop/jazz funk styled choreography that has an upbeat, (HBCU feel) with high energy AND formation changes, end it by strutting back off court in parade. Parents, coaches, and alumnis are allowed to dance for the intro or the outro no longer than 1min! Band music is a PLUS -4min max
-SHOWTIME CREATIVE (COMBINED): This category should mimic the movie of your choice, get ready for the lights, camera, action! Bring your actress/actors to the stage and wow the crowd. Make them want to give a standing ovation! Use your own music PROPS ARE RECOMMENDED -4min max
-CALL OUT TAG TRIO(COMBINED): This is where you take 3 of your best dancers to show off their amazing moves. The kicker is the team who pulls the * card goes 1st and they also get to choose their opponents. You will need 1 dancer that executes DANCE another that executes TRICKS and another that executes TECHNIQUE. Each dancer must be tagged in to perform their part for at least 30 secs, but all
MUST dance and do their specific moves. Only 1 team will advance to the final round, the team that wins gets to tag the next 2 teams to battle. Prepare for 2 rounds, 2min music mix will be given. Use floor we want to see high energy and execution of moves. Be Creative!
