Village of Oak Creek Community Additional VOCA Area Drainage Study Expansion

The Yavapai County Flood Control District is gathering data on flooding in the VOCA neighborhoods to identify and prioritize potential drainage solutions. The District completed a smaller study in 2009. This study led to two project completions. The remaining projects that were prioritized were stalled due to either cost restraints or a lack of easements acquired. The District is now expanding that study to include the larger VOCA area and to revisit some of the projects that failed.
