Enrolment Cancellations
*
This field is required.
Cancellations during the term are NOT accepted under any circumstances. (except for baby & toddler monthly flexi plans). This policy is NOT negotiable.
Classes at Charlestown: Cancellations for the following term must be sent via the Client Portal BEFORE 5pm Monday of week 9. Reminders are sent the week prior to this via txt msg and email. Late cancellations for the following term (prior to its start date) incur a $30 late fee.

Fee Payments & Refund Policy

Refunds and credits of enrolment fees ARE NOT given for change of mind or change of circumstances or for any other reason, with the exception of any provisions under the Consumer Act.
By enrolling you agree with the fee and refund policy. Harassment of our staff in any form, including in the form of repeated demands for making an exception to any of our enrolment or fee policies will not be tolerated and may result at the directors discretion, in termination of your enrolment. In such cases, refunds will not be issued.

Unpaid Fees

Term upfront fee declined: If unpaid on the due date in week 9 of the term prior - your spot will be cancelled. You can re-enrol via the Hive website where vacancies exist.
Monthly fee declined: a $10 dishonour fee will be charged. If you do not contact us within 3 business days, your enrollment will be cancelled. Fees will still be payable.
Debt collection: After 4 weeks of non payment, any outstanding fees are referred to a debt collection agency. You agree for your contact information to be shared with the debt collector and to pay all debt collection fees associated.

Missed Classes

Notify your absence in the Client Portal before 8am in order to be eligible for a makeup. Makeups can ONLY be booked via the client portal.
Makeup classes for group class enrolments are offered where availability exists and ONLY WHILE you are enrolled. Private lessons have a max of 2 make up classes per term where availability exists.
Makeups remain valid until you cancel your enrolment. After cancellation your makeup classes are void and cannot be used.
Makeups are only available for term classes and are not transferable to other students or to holiday programs. Missed "makeup" classes cannot be rebooked. (cancel it by 8am if you cannot attend)

Photo & Video Release

Photos and videos are occasionally taken in our classes. Most photos taken are group shots with multiple students. Students are not named or tagged in any photos on social media. Photos are not shared with any 3rd parties.
I GIVE CONSENT: for Hive to use photos and videos of my child and / or myself for print, website and social media use.
I DO NOT GIVE CONSENT. NOTE: Children enrolled in performance based classes - musical theatre or drama - cannot perform in any Hive performances without photo/video consent. By continuing your enrolment in a performance based class, you are giving consent.

Pandemics & Natural Disasters

In a pandemic, Hive classes will continue to operate unless prevented by Government imposed restrictions (in case of pandemic) or unless physically impossible due to a natural disaster. Should Hive classes be forced to be cancelled in either of these situations, Hive will communicate with clients at the time in regards to what replacement classes will be offered. Our normal enrolment and cancellation policies apply in all situations.
