  • All are welcome to apply to PDB 2023! Priority for admission will be given to advanced players or active members of the Boston Scottish Fiddle community. You will be notified with the status of your application within 5 days of applying!

  • Minors are required to have an ADULT guardian at camp. Due to limited space, we do not have a guardian price and they must register as a student.

  • LODGING OPTIONS

    Once your application to PDB 2023 has been accepted, you will be able to pick a room and submit payment to guarantee your spot.

    • "Piper Doon" ($435) Double/Triple Room with en-suite bathroom in QUIET dorm. Piper Doon dorm is not open to anyone applying for a scholarship.
    • "Superfly" ($400) Double/Triple Room in the LOUD dorm with shared bathrooms. This dorm comes with CLEANING responsibilities after parties.
    • LOUD Cabin ($400) Bunk Room with shared bath. JAMMING and LATE NIGHT CHIT CHAT allowed.
    • QUIET Cabin ($400) Bunk Room with shared bath. SILENCIO. 
    • Optional Thursday Night Add-On ($40)
    • BEDDING ($25) No bedding will provided this year (not even in Piper Doon.) A limited amount of bedding is available for rent and is granted on a first come basis. 

    You have the option of staying over Thursday night after the concert. There are no classes on Friday but lots of decorating, cooking, and jamming. Brunch will be provided on Friday for those staying on Thursday. Camp officially begins on Friday night at dinner.

  • *We are unable to accommodate other restrictions besides the ones on this list, but there are fridges that can be used to bring your own food.

  • COVID POLICY:

    PDB no longer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend camp, but we strongly encourage all to get the updated (bivalent) COVID-19 booster. A negative rapid test will be required for all attendees. Other protocols (masking, etc) will be announced in January. After assessing your own risk given the protocols we announce, you have the ability to cancel for full refund by February 1.

    Cancellation policy:

    FEBRUARY 1: 100% refund
    FEBRUARY 10:  50% refund
    After FEBRUARY 10:  No refunds unless we can fill your spot. 

    Exceptions: If YOU GET COVID, then 100% refund.
