This scheme is absolutely vital to keep dogs that have already been in homes out of the shelter (which would be absolutely devastating for them) and when we have space and enough sponsors, giving those in the shelter a chance to leave & meet prospective families. Dogs in boarding are SIGNIFICANTLY more likely to find homes than those in the shelter.
