Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be an emerging artist. An emerging artist is defined as:
Artists of any age who are in the early stages of their professional career, have completed specialized training or have equivalent experience, and have presented their work publicly. Age is not a determining factor.
Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents over the age of 18.
Applicants must choose one piece of work to submit for consideration, not multiple pieces.
The primary medium of submitted work must be clay/ceramics.
Submitted work can be functional or sculptural in nature.
Submitted work can be freestanding or wall-hanging.
Work must have been created in the last two years.
Submitted work must be no larger than 3 feet square and no taller than 6 feet.
Work must not have appeared previously in any juried exhibition.
