WSU-CASE Bargaining Committee Self-Nomination Form
November 2022
We will soon deliver our first request to bargain and hope to begin negotiating this semester. In order to do this, a Bargaining Committee of ASEs must be elected. Working together, the Bargaining Committee will:
a) Develop bargaining proposals based on survey data and conversations with fellow ASEs; b) Meet with WSU management during bargaining sessions; c) Communicate with ASEs about the progress of bargaining; d) Engage in outreach/organizing to build power; and e) Mobilize to win demands.
All ASEs are eligible to join the Bargaining Committee!
No bargaining experience is required, and there is no set number of Bargaining Committee members. Everyone is encouraged to participate in a way they are able. Election to the bargaining committee will require that a majority of votes cast for each nominee to be in favor of the nomination (more details and instruction will be included in the voting email). This nomination form will be open from Monday 11/14/22, through Wednesday 11/23/22. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch at contact@wsucase.org.
