    • SECTION A: Personal & Campsite/Organization Information 
    • Membership Fees

      Membership is divided into 6 categories according to the number of beds. Below are the fees for 2023, payable by January 2023.
      • LARGE (80+ beds) R1432.00
      • MEDIUM (50-79 beds) R1062.00
      • SMALL (1-49 beds) R725.00
      • INDEPENDENT MINISTRY (a registered organization with no residential centre or site, but involved in camping ministry) R597.00
      • INDIVIDUAL (not registered as an organization, but facilitating camp as individual) R292.50.
      • ASSOCIATE (where an institution is run by Christians and has a Christian influence but does not have a camping ministry as such) R597.00.
    • SECTION B: Code of Conduct 
    • CCSA exists:

      • to promote an understanding and acceptance of the value of Christian residential ministries in furthering the kingdom of God in Southern Africa;

      • to offer training;

      • to encourage the development and maintenance of excellent facilities suitable for Christian residential ministries;

      • to provide a platform where people in Christian residential ministries can share their best practices and encourage one another regarding challenges;

      • to work towards a benchmark for standards and practices in the Christian residential ministry and

      • to provide supportive fellowship and spiritual input for Christians engaged in residential ministry.

      CCSA encourages high standards in:

      • the provision and maintenance of facilities;
      • the training of staff;
      • the application of professional staff practices;
      • the professional interaction with clients and
      • the presentation of programmes and activities.

      Therefore, CCSA requires from member organisations, centres and camps, individual and associated members to abide by the following Code of Conduct.

      CCSA members:

      • strive to further the kingdom of God in all their deliberations

      • adhere to Biblical principles in their ministry philosophy

      • aim to achieve the highest standards of excellence in all areas of their operation (administration, staff policies and training, programming, development and maintenance of facilities, health and safety procedures, etc.)

      • value principles and practices that result in good financial stewardship, responsible management and long-term results

      • are willing to subject their ministry and/or facilities to peer review, will appreciate positive feedback and are willing to rectify shortcomings

      • commit themselves to the ongoing development of their skills and knowledge

      • engage in the fellowship opportunities and spiritual input CCSA provides

      • are willing to share their best practices with other members of CCSA

      • commit themselves to working towards the benchmark for standards and practices as set out in CCSA documents such as the CCSA Governance Manual

      • seek to create an environment where all persons are treated equitably and with respect, where persons’ rights are respected and where staff efforts are encouraged and their achievements given due recognition

      • value the wise, considerate and sustainable use of resources

      • obey the laws of the country in which they function.

    • SECTION C: Privacy Policy 
    • We respect your right to privacy and therefore aim to ensure that we comply with the legal requirement of the POPI Act which regulates the manner in which we collect, process, store, share and destroy any personal information which you have provided to us.

      Why we collect Personal Information:

      We collect personal information in order to liaise with you telephonically, via our website or email so that we may:

      1. Serve you as a member of CCSA according to the CCSA Constitution;

      2. Respond to any query or comment received from you;

      3. Inform you of new offers, job positions available, wellbeing of fellow members;

      4. Enable us to process, validate and verify information and requests for the supply of goods and/or services;

      5. For the purposes for which you specifically provided the information; and

      6. Generally to improve your experience on our website.

      Processing of Information:

      We will share your personal information:

      1. In order to comply with applicable law or with legal process served on our company;

      2. In order to protect and defend the rights or property of our company; and

      3. with employees and/or third parties who assist us in providing services to you and thus require your personal information in order to render a proper and efficient service. We will ensure that all such employees and third party service providers, having access to your personal information, are bound by confidentiality agreements.

      Security Measures

      We will:

      1. Treat your personal information as strictly confidential;

      2. Take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that your personal information is kept secure and is protected against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, alteration, disclosure or access;

      3. Promptly notify you if we become aware of any unauthorised use, disclosure or processing of your personal information;

      4. Provide you with reasonable evidence of our compliance with our obligations under this policy onreasonable request; and

      5. We will not retain your personal information longer than the period for which it was originally required, unless we are required by law to do so, or you consent to us retaining such information for a longer period.

      ALTHOUGH WE TAKE THE AFOREMENTIONED PRECAUTIONS IN PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, WE SHALL HOWEVER NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, HOWSOEVER ARISING, SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF THE DISCLOSURE OF SUCH INFORMATION IF OUTSIDE OURREASONABLE CONTROL.
