Porto's Legacy

Some of the greatest representatives of the legacy of Portuguese architecture are in Porto. Emblematic works have been built based on vertical thinking, passed on from generation to generation and matured by architects who have become undeniable references in international architecture. Álvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto de Moura fill this itinerary with traces of a timeless discipline and way of thinking based on an understanding of the circumstances of architecture and the importance of the process.

Northern Heritage

We have outlined an itinerary focused on heritage that shows the capacity to intervene in the landscape and memory, where past and present are built simultaneously. With a skyline cut out of granite, northern Portugal surprises us with imposing works, linked to its historical and geographical context in a close symbiotic relationship. LISBON, MONUMENTAL RIVERSIDE

The riverside area has always been the stage for the most important interventions in Lisbon. Monuments follow one another along the banks in a living chronology that alternates and recounts the various defining moments of the city. Contemporary architecture also leaves its mark, erecting buildings and participating in collective construction with works that incorporate innovative forms and uses, pioneering new ways of looking at the city and the river. From the Cruise Terminal to EDP Headquarters, the riverside area is the synthesis of the place where the city meets the river, the ultimate limit where monumentality is rehearsed.
