About Blushel Ocbina

LI Board Vice Chair; Organizational Change Management Leader

Ms. Ocbina has been involved with Leadership Initiatives since 2005 when she established and managed LI's programs in the Philippines. Following the conclusion of her contract in 2007, Ms. Ocbina became an active volunteer and supporter of the organization, eventually joining the advisory board in 2009 and serving as its chair in 2012.

Ms. Ocbina joined the LI Board in 2013 and has been serving as its vice-chair since. Ms. Ocbina brings to Leadership Initiatives her passion for community service and development.

Ms. Ocbina is an alumna of the University of Southern California. Since 2004, she has been serving the needs of public, private, and civic organizations in the areas of strategic communications, change management, marketing, branding, portfolio management, program management, project management, stakeholder management, proposal management, and business analysis/business process improvement. Ms. Ocbina is currently a Senior Director of Strategic Consulting - Change Management at Epsilon.

Ms. Ocbina created this scholarship to foster the development of future business leaders by providing access to educational opportunities and mentorship. It promotes collaboration between students and industry professionals in order to develop creative solutions for real-world business problems. With this scholarship, students will be able to gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a business leader of tomorrow.
Eligibility: The Ocbina Future Business Leaders Scholarship is open to all high school students interested in business. Two annual scholarship recipients will be chosen based on academic and personal merit to receive the full tuition scholarship.

Deadline: To be considered for the Ocbina Future Business Leaders Scholarship, applications must be received by April 25th, 2023.

Scholarship Award: Please note this scholarship covers the entire cost for the International Leadership & Business Internship.

I understand that the 2023 Ocbina Future Business Leaders Scholarship can only be used to attend the Leadership Initiatives International Leadership & Business Internship held at Georgetown University from July 16, 2023 - July 22, 2023. This scholarship can not be transferred to any other program or institution or be requested as a payment.

All applications received after the deadline of April 25, 2023, will not be considered to receive this scholarship. Decisions will be made by the Leadership Initiatives Scholarship Committee and will be announced by May 15, 2023.
